Dance with Me is an alphabet composed
of 26 choreographic micro-performances.
Each letter emerges from the slow, continuous movement
of the participant’s arms. Captured through 30-second exposure photography, the gestures appear as abstract dances to the naked eye while revealing hidden letterforms within the final image.
This piece was selected by Dr Glenn Adamson and Priya Khanchandani as a winner of the Word Art Collective digital competition, funded by the European Commission and the British Council in 2012.
